NYSORVA
is entirely volunteer-staffed and donation-supported. We do not rely on
government grants or Foundations for funding. Membership Donations help
to fund administration, communication, and government-relations efforts
necessary to improve the environment for OHV recreation in NY, such as
the ATV Trail Funding Legislation initiative.
Member-clubs
are eligible to take part in our Co-op ATV Raffle program. We supply the
ATV and member clubs are provided raffle tickets. The participating
clubs keep 50% proceeds of their sales. Contact the Raffle
Coordinator for information on participation in a future
program.
We
also need volunteers! We especially need riders with good
communications skills to be Regional Coordinators or to take on
special projects (such as coordinating with DEC Managers to get public
land trails developed). And anyone with a special set of skills that
could benefit the organization is encouraged to step forward to help us
reach our goals.
